2026 is the year where God is restoring glory, purity of worship, and spiritual authority in His people as declared at HOTR Crossover Service. Just as God promised to rebuild the Tabernacle of David, God is raising a people who will carry His presence with boldness, devotion, and obedience. This season marks a divine turnaround, where rejection becomes redirection, worship becomes victory, and God sets His people up again for influence, strength, and purpose in Him.
In the Hebrew calendar, it is also the year 5786, known as the Year of the Mouth: a season that emphasizes the power of our words, declarations, prayers, and alignment with God’s voice. It is also the Year of the Nail, symbolizing what God is fastening, securing, and establishing permanently in our lives.
As we begin this prayer point, it is vital that we pause to fully grasp the true weight and spiritual significance of the timing in the Hebrew calendar. The word of the Lord carries direction, authority, and responsibility. This year, being the year of the mouth and of the nail, calls us to a deeper awareness of both utterance and establishment—what is spoken and what is fastened, what is declared and what is secured. Understanding this truth is essential, because it forms the foundation upon which all other prayers for this season will rest. Without deep understanding here, one may lose out on alignment and power in the place of prayer.
Therefore, before we proceed further, we will take deliberate time to anchor ourselves in God’s Word. Kindly read slowly and attentively, and confess out loud the powerful and relevant scriptures that follow. As you speak them, allow faith to rise, revelation to settle, and alignment to take place, knowing that these scriptures are not merely words to be read, but spiritual tools to establish God’s purpose for this year in your life and in the world.
What we speak and what God secures in this season will shape our future. As we align our mouths with His Word, God anchors His purposes firmly in us.
PRAYER POINTS
- Father God, In this Year of the Mouth, we submit our tongues to You. Forgive us for words spoken in fear, doubt, anger, or unbelief. Align our speech with heaven. Let our declarations produce life, healing, and faith. Teach us to speak what You are speaking and silence every word that contradicts Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Scriptures:
• Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)
• Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.” Psalm 34:13 (KJV)
• For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Matthew 12:37 (KJV)
• “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD…” Psalm 19:14 (KJV)
These scriptures reminds us that our words are not neutral; they carry spiritual weight. In this Year of the Mouth, God calls us to speak life, truth, and faith. As the Nail, He is establishing His Word so that it will not be shaken.
In 5786, God is drawing attention to what we say, decree, and agree with. Words spoken in faith partner with heaven, while careless words can delay what God is doing. This year, God is refining our mouths so that what we speak aligns with His will and advances His purposes.
Words carry spiritual weight and produce outcomes
- Father, establish Your purposes in our lives, families, and ministries. Fasten Your will as a nail in a sure place, so that nothing You have ordained will be moved, shaken, or removed. Let Your Word stand firm and be permanently anchored in our lives, families, and ministries. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
The Year of the Nail represents what God is fastening securely, what will not be moved, shaken, or removed. God fastens His Word so it cannot be shaken
Scripture:
“And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house.” Isaiah 22:23 (KJV)
- Lord, In this season, establish what is from You and remove what is not. Fasten Your purposes like a nail in a sure place. Let nothing You have ordained be delayed, destroyed, or displaced. We receive Your unshakable kingdom and trust You to secure every promise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Scripture:
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28 (KJV)
- Ask God to shape our hearts, posture our worship, form our character, and prepare us to become a people who carry His presence with reverence and faith as we proclaim all that He has promised to establish in our lives.
Scripture:
“In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old.” Amos 9:11 (KJV)
- Father, give me a heart like Joshua and Caleb that follows You fully and believes You completely.
Scripture:
“But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land.” Numbers 14:24 (KJV)
PRAYER
Father, we thank You for the word You have released over this season. In this Year of the Mouth and the Year of the Nail, we align our hearts, our words, and our lives with Your purposes. Let our mouths speak only what is consistent with Your truth, Your will, and Your plans. Sanctify our speech and cause our declarations to produce life, faith, and obedience.
Establish everything You have ordained for us. Fasten Your purposes in our lives as a nail in a sure place, so that nothing You have spoken will be shaken, delayed, or displaced. Let Your Word take deep root and bear lasting fruit in our lives, families, and communities.
Restore true worship in us. Shape our hearts, refine our posture, and draw us into deeper devotion and obedience. Give us a different spirit, one that follows You fully, trusts You completely, and responds to You in faith. As we align with You, let Your glory be revealed, Your authority rest upon us, and Your purposes be firmly established, to the praise of Your name.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
