Dearly Beloved,
I greet you all in the name of our Lord.
The season of Lent – PUSH 2023 – affords Christians the world over, the opportunity to engage in prayer and fasting, corporately
as it were. We all recall that following the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus the Christ, God entered a
new binding and irrevocable covenant with His people (the New Creation species) ratified through the precious blood
of His Son, Jesus Christ.
The reality of this binding and irrevocable covenant is what unites Christians, regardless of
geographical location.
At the House on The Rock we cannot overemphasize the importance of prayer. We acknowledge that God is the
creator of the person and the creator of the potential inside each of us. Indeed, it will be presumptuous of anyone to
expect to become all that God has created them to be without prayer.
Godās purpose for our lives can only be revealed through dialogue with our creator and it is this knowledge of our purpose that reveals our potential. It is
in the course of communion with God (prayer) that we will receive instructions to enable us exploit and express the dormant, latent power (hidden wealth) in us, which is our potential Scripture records that when the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, He provided them with a template for prayer which we all know as āThe Lordās prayerā. During
this time of corporate consecration through prayer and fasting, I direct your focus to this prayer:
H O U S EĀ O NĀ T H EĀ R O C KĀ |Ā P U S H 2023Ā P R A Y E RĀ H A N D B O O K
Our Father, which art in Heaven
Hallowed be thy Name
May thy kingdom come,
May thy will be done on earth
As it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily Bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those that trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from all Evil
For thine is the Kingdom, the Power and Glory, Forever.
Amen
It is from this perspective that I pray for everyone under the cover of this house, declaring that the God and Father of
our Lord Jesus Christ shall release the grace of prayer upon you.
I pray that you may have strength to pray and attain consistent victory in prayer which will ultimately result in sustained victory in life, knowing that He who called you is
faithful and will perfect all that which concerns you. Amen.
Yours for the establishment of His Kingdom,
Paul Adefarasin
Metropolitan of All House On The Rock.
