There is a saying that “No man is an island.” When God created man in the Garden of Eden, He said, “It is not good that man should be alone.” God created us to be relational beings, and it is therefore important that our relationships are ordered according to His design.
Our life relationships are meant to build us up, not weigh us down. We are not designed to exist in parasitic relationships or in relationships that leave us feeling less than who God has created us to be.
Our relationships are meant to reflect the glory of God and serve as a living testimony, one that the world can look upon and be encouraged by.

PRAYER
Our Father, we thank You for every relationship You have entrusted to us. Help us never to despise or overlook any connection You have placed in our lives. Teach us to honour the people around us and to be intentional about fulfilling purpose through our relationships.
Help us not to elevate one relationship above another wrongly, but grant us the wisdom and grace to nurture each relationship as it ought to be nurtured, so that Your name may be glorified.
Lord, we bring before You every broken place in our relationships, those we may have allowed the enemy to infiltrate. We ask for Your healing and restoration in our marriages, with our children, our parents, our leaders, our colleagues, and our friends. Let Your love, peace, and reconciliation flow into every relationship that needs Your touch.
Thank You, Lord, for revealing Your power and grace through our relationships. May our lives and connections continually bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
REFLECTION
• What are those relationships you had and took for granted and are paying the price of that loss?
• What are those relationships you are in now that you need the grace to walk away from?
• What are those relationships that you need to intentionally move to the next level in 2026 in order to achieve God’s purpose for your life?
Today, choose to nurture healthy relationships, walk away from what is toxic, and refuse to become the toxic one.
