W2W FAST 2026: DAY 3 — EXPECTATION & DECLARATION

PRAYER OF FAITH, ALIGNMENT OF EXPECTATION & SPOKEN DECLARATIONS

WHY WE PRAY IN EXPECTATION & DECLARATION FOR 2026

Expectation is an expression of faith — a quiet confidence that God is at work ahead of us. As we look toward 2026, we choose not to approach the year with uncertainty or fear, but with assurance grounded in God’s Word. Through prayer and declaration, we align our hearts, our desires, and our expectations with what God has spoken.

We declare not from presumption, but from a strong place of trust in God.
We speak God’s Word not to control outcomes, but to position our hearts in faith, hope, and agreement with His promises.

In expectation, we lean forward with confidence, believing that God is already in our tomorrow, shaping the path before us.

Father, we look toward 2026 with faith and confidence in Your goodness. We surrender our expectations into Your hands and align our hearts with Your Word. Where there has been uncertainty, bring assurance. Where there has been hesitation, strengthen our faith. Help us to speak Your truth, to stand in trust, and to walk in agreement with Your purpose for our lives. We believe that You are already at work ahead of us, and we step forward with hope, peace, and expectation.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
